Marks & Spencer to close Russian stores in 2022
MOSCOW, Nov 7 (PRIME) -- U.K. retailer Marks & Spencer is selling its stock in Russia and will close stores before January, employees told PRIME on Monday.
"The stores will be closed before New Year, we don't know the date, but no later than that," an employee of a Moscow store said. A different official confirmed the information, adding that the retailer has made no supplies of new products.
The retailer suspended imports of its products to Russia on March 4 and announced quitting the market at the end of May.
